Laser Periodontal Therapy- Laser periodontal therapy is used to stop the spread of periodontal disease which are pockets of 4mm and up. Periodontal disease causes red swollen gums to bleed easily, in combination with bone loss. Laser therapy works by killing the bacteria and eliminating it. The procedure is used in conjunction with scaling and root planning.
