Dental bonding is a multi-layered process in which durable, enamel-like composite resins are intricately applied to the tooth before it is exposed to a special light. The state-of-the-art bonding material is highly polishable and stain resistant. Any extrinsic stains that might occur can be removed by a routine dental cleaning. Most bonding procedures can be completed in one dental visit and last between 5 and 10 years, depending on a number of factors, including the materials used and the patient's care of the restored teeth.
